Ground Rent Sales
How it works
- To list your ground rents for free complete our listing request form. The privacy level of the listing can be tailored to your requirements (visible to registered buyers only or to everyone). You may choose not to specify an asking price and allow potential buyers to make offers.
- We will notify each of our registered buyers of your ground rent details.
- Registered buyers may express an interest by completing a direct reply form on your listing page. Your contact details are never revealed. You retain complete control over how and when to respond to buyer enquiries.
Section 5 Notices
In most cases where freehold ground rents are sold, the freehold must first be offered to the lessees through section 5 notices. Unlike at auction section 5 notices may be served after agreement with a buyer. Most serious buyers will offer to take care of serving section 5 notices. Once notices have been served the sale can proceed at the price agreed whether to the buyer or lessees.
